9th overall
I still have a lot of work at home, where I still try to find new sponsors for season 2009. It looks that the world crisis affected everyone without exception. But I still strongly believe that at the end everything will just fine.
Luckily I catch few days of good wind that I could still enjoy warm weather here in the Adriatic, where the water temperature is still 19 C.
Recently I found on the web site www.windsurfjournal.com interesting news where they combined an overall result for 2008. They took the PWA slalom, PWA freestyle, PWA wave and World championship speed ranking. The best three disciplines of each rider would count. If the rider did not compete in three disciplines he got a 59 place for the third discipline.
I found myself on the 9th place of that list and was very happy about it, as that result clearly shows that I am one of the most overall sailors of today.
Hopefully this info can give me one small push to fix all my financial problems.
