First three days in Costa Brava
Light gusty winds are the right description of the races here in Costa Brava. After the morning registration a light onshore breeze kicked in and the race started in about 7 to 10 knots. I was in heat 4. The first two heats had kind of ok wind, although it was on a very light side. Already the heat 3 was barely planning and after four guys crossed the finis line the hear judge decided to cancel it. After that was my heat, I started not the best, but still manage to come in just planning to the first mark in 4th, after the jibe there was just no wind. We started to pump and the ITA 777 manage to get planning befor me. We had to pump almost all the way down the course and I finished 5th in my heat, so I got eliminated. The next day the wind came side offshore from the right and it was very gusty. In almost marginal conditions they finished the first round at 19:00 in the evening.
Today it lookes like no wind and also the forecast is not really promising. Let's see!
