Fuertaventura - freestyle
Three days of freestyle competitions are over. We ended two double eliminations with impressive action on the water. Although I did not train freestyle much this winter I did some very nice heats and I finished 17th in the first and 25th in the second double. I was a bit unlucky to loose against Offringa and Rossmier for just a point with two to one decision, out of three judges. So at the moment I am in 22nd position and hoping to get better in the last double.
Heat duration is six minutes and best 4 moves out of 7 maximum attempts on each tack would count for your end score. My heats usually start with a forward loop coming towards the beach and in my heats I do like ponch both side, air flaka going out, forward both side, puneta going out, eslider or puneta coming in and some more classic moves like spock, grubby, ...
