Fuertaventura slalom is over!
The last two days we had another 6 races so we did in total 14 races in 5 days. Tiered I am looking back to the event and I must admit I am not so happy about the 34th place where I finished, but on the other hand I learned a lot again. I found out that my jibing got much better than last year, but I still have to work on my starts and my speed. Starting was the biggest problem here in Fuertaventura, but in the last two days when we had stronger winds, I had all the time better starts. The last 4 races I was consistently fighting for the 6th place that ensures the qualification to the next round, but I always have done one mistake too much.
At the end I must be happy that I qualified once, the first time in my life, but I can assure you it will not be the last!!!
