Piranja 2010
I did not upload the blog for quite some time because I was moving to my new apartment in Izola. Finally after 30 years I can do at home whatever I want :) !!!
Of course the moving took quite some time so I was busy with that and had not so much time for sailing. But now I am back on track! I am sailing as much as possible on the Slovenian coast and the surroundings.
On Saturday there was an overall windsurf festival in Piran, where the competitions starts at exact time no mater the conditions. Competitors show up with all kinds of equipment to get first over the long course. The wind was very light so I decided to go with the SUP. After an hour of hard paddling I crossed the finish line first few meters in front of the first windsurfer. Was a sick race!
Now I will train as much as possible for the final in Sylt!
