Pozo after three days

The windiest event of the tour has started. I am here in Gran Canaria for 4 days and the wind has not dropped under 25 knots. So I am sailing 5.4 Challenger Aero + and the RRD X-fire 90 all the time. I also went for few wave sessions but nothing special so far.
On the first two days they run waves single elimination so we had no slalom competitions.
Today in the morning we started the first slalom race. I was in heat number 4 and I had a good start. I came out of the first jibe together with F – 1 and we were fighting for the 5th place, that is the last that leads to the next round, till the third mark, where I tried to attach him and went down. I got up and was still in 6th, but on the last jibe I slipped from the board and did not make a very good jibe so one more guy passed me. I was catching him up but missed a few meters to pass him. So I was 7th.
Second race started straight away and I was in heat three. I missed the start a bit, but came out of the first jibe with the pack. I was in the group and was fighting till the last mark where I tried to pass one guy on the inside and went down in a bad way. It took me long to get up so all the guys passed me. Not a good start of the event, but at least I was aggressive and hopefully in the upcoming races it will go better.
After the two slaloms they went for the wave finals of the single elimination. Whit and incredible show won the only 15 years old Philip Koster in front of Victor Fernandez.
Tomorrow morning the start is scheduled for 10:30.
