Shimuni Extreme Speed One Hour Slalom III
Last three days I was on the Croatian island of Pag, where in Camp Shimuni they organized the third one hour race. Amazing organization with free accommodation for 40 people, free diner and 60.000 Kuna price money makes this competition one of the best if not the best in all Adriatic.
Despite bad weather forecast, that unfortunately made quite some not come, we run an amazing one hour race in quite strong Bora wind. In a bit gusty wind between 18 to 28 knots I decided to use my 7.8 Aero+ and RRD X-fire 112. The combo worked perfect although it was quite big in some gusts, nevertheless after one hour of fighting and with an average speed of 23.82 knots I crossed the finish line first with a big gap.
I won the event for the second time and I am really happy for that!
Special guest Vlatka Pokos handed the prices and lead the price giving ceremony.
This gives me also motivation for the last event of the season in Sylt! Keep your fingers crossed for me :)
