Short but sweet!

Time passes by so quick! It seems to me I just left and I am already waiting at the Madrid airport to fly home.
At the beginning the wind and the waves did not want to collaborate at all, so we had quite some surfing days with Ben van der Steen to keep in shape although the water was freezing cold. I measured with my watch 12 C. After a week waiting the wind finally came, but there was still no waves, so we went for sailing to Llico to film some slalom action for the movie.
Finally the patience paid off! After being here in spring for more than two weeks and now for more than a week and after so many people told me that Pichilemu is an amazing spot I finally could try it. They were right! The place is insane. So clean and long waves and so easy to sail. Just pure pleasure! And the best thing of all, we got four days in a role what happens just so rarely.
It was a short but unforgettable trip! After I have sailed in Gnaraloo (Australia), Eland's bay (South Africa), Hookipa (Hawaii) and here I could really not choose where I had the best waves so far. I guess I will have to go soon to check also Capo Verde :) hahaha!
Finally we have filmed all the missing scenes for the Cape Horn movie and by the end of the year it should be finished, so stay tuned!
