Sylt 2008!
The last event of the year has started. Most of the top windsurfers of the world has come to the north of Germany to compete on the final event of the 2008 PWA season. The forecast looks very promising for the end of the week, so it looks like we are going to finish all disciplins but in very cold weather.
On the first day of competitions we started the first slalom in very light conditions so it was on the very limit of regularity. I got stucked on the start, then I tryed to fight back but got stacked with no wind on the last mark and finished 6 in my heat. I did not advance to the next round, so not such a good start of the event. It happened the same to some big names like Albeau, Pritchard and some others. I am looking forward to some more racing so i could discard the first race which is still not finished.
